About the scent
Opens with caramel melting into warm milk, then drifts into honey, vanilla and musk (a soft note that smells of clean skin). Sweet, creamy and cosy, like a knitted sweater. For autumn, winter and relaxed evenings. It is loud, so a light hand is enough; too much for a stuffy office.
Notes
Notes are what you smell in the scent. The top ones come first, the heart follows, the base stays with you the longest. The number next to a note is how many fragrances in the catalogue have it.
Top notes. The first 15–30 minutes after you put it on: what you smell straight away.
- Caramel· 3. Sugar cooked until golden. Warm, buttery and sweet, with a slightly burnt edge.
- Milk· 2. An accord the perfumer builds from creamy notes, since milk itself cannot be distilled. Soft, cosy and slightly sweet, like a cup of warm milk.
- Sugar· 2. Sugar and caramel: plain sweetness that makes a scent feel cosier.
Heart notes. Opens up after about half an hour and stays for a few hours: the character of the scent.
- White flowers· 3. An accord of white blossoms such as jasmine, tuberose and orange blossom. Creamy, heady and sweet, a lush floral bouquet.
- Honey· 5. Honey and beeswax: thick sweetness with a warm, slightly animalic touch.
Base notes. Stays the longest, until the end of the day: what you later notice on your clothes and scarf.
- Vanilla· 46. Pods of the vanilla orchid. Warm sweetness; in niche perfumes it comes with smoke and wood rather than smelling of cake.
- Praline· 7. Caramelised sugar and roasted nuts, like the filling of a chocolate.
- Musk· 38. Synthetic molecules that smell of clean, warm skin. Like a jumper someone you love just wore.
