About the scent
The coffee take on Khamrah: opens with cinnamon, cardamom and ginger, then settles into sweet coffee with praline and vanilla. The coffee is soft and milky, more latte than espresso. For autumn and winter evenings and lazy weekends; it suits men and women alike. Dense and sweet, so a light touch with the sprayer is enough.
Notes
Notes are what you smell in the scent. The top ones come first, the heart follows, the base stays with you the longest. The number next to a note is how many fragrances in the catalogue have it.
Top notes. The first 15–30 minutes after you put it on: what you smell straight away.
- Ginger· 5. Fresh ginger root. Spicy and zesty, with a warm bite and a touch of lemon.
- Cinnamon· 14. Bark of the cinnamon tree. Warm, sweet and spicy, like cinnamon buns.
- Cardamom· 6. A spice from the ginger family. Fresh and cool, with a hint of eucalyptus and lemon.
Heart notes. Opens up after about half an hour and stays for a few hours: the character of the scent.
- Praline· 7. Caramelised sugar and roasted nuts, like the filling of a chocolate.
- . Fruit and peel cooked in sugar syrup. Sticky and sweet, like the candied pieces in a festive fruit cake.
- White flowers· 3. An accord of white blossoms such as jasmine, tuberose and orange blossom. Creamy, heady and sweet, a lush floral bouquet.
Base notes. Stays the longest, until the end of the day: what you later notice on your clothes and scarf.
- Coffee· 6. Roasted coffee beans: a little bitter, warm and invigorating.
- Tonka bean· 21. Seed of a South American tree. Almond, hay and vanilla at once: a cosy, edible note.
- Musk· 38. Synthetic molecules that smell of clean, warm skin. Like a jumper someone you love just wore.
- Benzoin· 13. A resin from trees of Southeast Asia. Warm vanilla with a hint of caramel.
- Vanilla· 46. Pods of the vanilla orchid. Warm sweetness; in niche perfumes it comes with smoke and wood rather than smelling of cake.
