Trademarks

The names of fragrances and perfume houses belong to their respective owners. We use them only to state honestly which fragrance has been decanted into the vial. A decant is not a brand product in its original packaging: we transfer the original fragrance into our own vial and are ourselves responsible for the vial, the label and the decanting. The photos on the website were taken by us; we do not use brand logos.

What is a decant

A decant is a portion of an original bottle transferred by hand into a new glass vial with a spray atomiser. We buy original bottles from wholesale suppliers in the EU, keep the purchase receipts and batch codes, and state the batch on the label of every decant. The bottle from which your decant was made can be traced by its batch number.

A decant is not a manufacturer’s sample, not a “tester” and not original packaging. The brand’s boxes, caps and bottles are not included.

Decanting and hygiene

We decant with a sterile syringe or through an adapter into new vials, in a separate clean area, in accordance with good manufacturing practice for cosmetics (ISO 22716), without exposing the fragrance to air for longer than necessary. Every vial is closed with a tamper-evident seal. Losses during decanting are taken into account: you receive no less than the volume stated on the label.

Labelling and ingredients

By decanting the fragrance, we become the responsible person for this product under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. The decant label shows: the name of the fragrance and the perfume house, volume, batch number, the date of minimum durability (the hourglass symbol followed by the month and year), the name and address of the responsible person — Oleksandr Mozghovoi, Aveņu iela 1, Krāslava, LV-5601, Latvia — and the “hand in book” symbol. The full list of ingredients (INCI) and precautions for use are provided in the leaflet enclosed in the parcel and on the product page.

Storage

Keep the vial closed, away from light and heat. The date of minimum durability is shown on the label: no more than 12 months from the date of decanting and no later than the date until which the original bottle remains usable.

If you have doubts about authenticity or have noticed a discrepancy with the original, write to [email protected] with your order number and photos. We will check it against the batch and, in the event of a lack of conformity, replace the item or refund your money under the legal guarantee.
