About the scent
Opens with almost comically real warm milk, then tuberose (a heady, creamy white flower) and cocoa melt into soft vanilla musk. Cosy and clean, like a white wool sweater. For cool days, autumn evenings and close company. It divides people: anyone who dislikes the smell of milk should start with a sample.
Notes
Notes are what you smell in the scent. The top ones come first, the heart follows, the base stays with you the longest. The number next to a note is how many fragrances in the catalogue have it.
Top notes. The first 15–30 minutes after you put it on: what you smell straight away.
- Ambrette· 4. Seeds of a hibiscus plant. They smell of soft musk with a hint of pear.
- Milk· 2. An accord the perfumer builds from creamy notes, since milk itself cannot be distilled. Soft, cosy and slightly sweet, like a cup of warm milk.
- Mystikal· 2. A synthetic ambery material inspired by incense and resins. Warm, balsamic and slightly sweet, with a soft smoky glow.
Heart notes. Opens up after about half an hour and stays for a few hours: the character of the scent.
- Jasmine· 21. A white flower, sweet and a little animalic. It makes a scent warm and sensual.
- Tuberose· 6. A thick, creamy white flower. Loud and sweet, you notice it right away.
- Mahonial· 4. A synthetic material inspired by the flowers of the mahonia shrub. Fresh and airy, like lily of the valley with a fruity touch.
- Incense· 10. Resin of the frankincense tree. Smoky and cool, with a lemony spark, like in a church.
Base notes. Stays the longest, until the end of the day: what you later notice on your clothes and scarf.
- Tonka bean· 21. Seed of a South American tree. Almond, hay and vanilla at once: a cosy, edible note.
- Cacao· 4. Cocoa beans and cocoa powder. Dry, slightly bitter chocolate, not sweet.
- Vanilla· 46. Pods of the vanilla orchid. Warm sweetness; in niche perfumes it comes with smoke and wood rather than smelling of cake.
- Musk· 38. Synthetic molecules that smell of clean, warm skin. Like a jumper someone you love just wore.
