About the scent
Opens with juicy blackcurrant, citrus and a hint of magnolia, then settles into musk (a soft smell of warm, clean skin) and creamy sandalwood. Cosy, like a cashmere jumper after a hot shower. For the office, walks and dates, best in spring and summer. Musk reads differently on everyone: loud on some, barely there on others.
Notes
Notes are what you smell in the scent. The top ones come first, the heart follows, the base stays with you the longest. The number next to a note is how many fragrances in the catalogue have it.
Top notes. The first 15–30 minutes after you put it on: what you smell straight away.
- Bergamot· 24. An Italian citrus. Lemon peel and Earl Grey tea: bright and a little bitter.
- Mandarin· 9. A sweet citrus. Juicy and sunny, softer than lemon or orange.
Heart notes. Opens up after about half an hour and stays for a few hours: the character of the scent.
- Magnolia· 4. A large white flower. Creamy and fresh, with a lemony touch.
- Blackcurrant· 10. Blackcurrant berries and leaves. Juicy and tart, with the green of a crushed leaf.
Base notes. Stays the longest, until the end of the day: what you later notice on your clothes and scarf.
- Sandalwood· 17. Wood of the sandalwood tree. Soft and creamy, warm like skin after the sun.
- Musk· 38. Synthetic molecules that smell of clean, warm skin. Like a jumper someone you love just wore.
