About the scent
Opens with sharp, almost metallic saffron, then settles into soft musk and ambroxan (a warm, slightly salty amber note). The saffron here is bright and clear, without the usual heaviness. Autumn, winter and spring, day or evening. It carries well, so the office calls for a light hand.
Notes
Notes are what you smell in the scent. The top ones come first, the heart follows, the base stays with you the longest. The number next to a note is how many fragrances in the catalogue have it.
Top notes. The first 15–30 minutes after you put it on: what you smell straight away.
- Musk· 38. Synthetic molecules that smell of clean, warm skin. Like a jumper someone you love just wore.
Heart notes. Opens up after about half an hour and stays for a few hours: the character of the scent.
- Saffron· 11. A spice from the stigmas of the crocus flower. Smells of leather and honey, a little metallic.
Base notes. Stays the longest, until the end of the day: what you later notice on your clothes and scarf.
- Ambrox· 11. A synthetic material inspired by ambergris. Mineral, slightly salty warmth, like skin after the sea.
- Incense· 10. Resin of the frankincense tree. Smoky and cool, with a lemony spark, like in a church.
