About the scent
Opens with tart lemon and whipped meringue, then neroli (bitter orange blossom, bright and a little soapy) leads into soft vanilla. A dessert, but an airy one, neither sticky nor heavy. For spring and summer days, the office or a walk. On some skin the neroli turns sharp, so it is worth testing first.
Notes
Notes are what you smell in the scent. The top ones come first, the heart follows, the base stays with you the longest. The number next to a note is how many fragrances in the catalogue have it.
Top notes. The first 15–30 minutes after you put it on: what you smell straight away.
- Lemon· 8. Lemon peel: a fresh, sharp and sour smell.
- . Egg whites whipped with sugar and baked until crisp. Airy, sugary sweetness with a hint of vanilla, like a dessert fresh from the oven.
Heart notes. Opens up after about half an hour and stays for a few hours: the character of the scent.
- Neroli· 4. Oil from bitter orange blossom. Fresh, green and floral, lighter than orange blossom itself.
Base notes. Stays the longest, until the end of the day: what you later notice on your clothes and scarf.
- Vanilla· 46. Pods of the vanilla orchid. Warm sweetness; in niche perfumes it comes with smoke and wood rather than smelling of cake.
