About the scent
Opens with juicy cherry soaked in cognac and a pinch of pink pepper, then settles into vanilla and soft tobacco. Sweet, warm and a little tipsy, like dessert after a late dinner. Made for cold evenings and dates. It is rich and carries far, so a light hand is enough.
Notes
Notes are what you smell in the scent. The top ones come first, the heart follows, the base stays with you the longest. The number next to a note is how many fragrances in the catalogue have it.
Top notes. The first 15–30 minutes after you put it on: what you smell straight away.
- . Ripe cherry: juicy and sweet, a little tart, with a hint of almond.
- Pink pepper· 7. Dried berries of the Peruvian pepper tree, not a true pepper. A light spice: fresh, a little fruity and resinous, with a gentle tingle.
- Pepper· 8. Black or pink pepper. A dry, fresh spice that tickles the nose a little.
Heart notes. Opens up after about half an hour and stays for a few hours: the character of the scent.
- Cognac· 2. An accord that recalls cognac: warm and boozy, with dried fruit and an oak barrel.
- Hedione· 2. A synthetic material inspired by jasmine. Airy and transparent, with a light citrus freshness that makes a scent glow.
Base notes. Stays the longest, until the end of the day: what you later notice on your clothes and scarf.
- Tobacco· 4. Dry tobacco leaves, honeyed and sweet. Not an ashtray.
- Vanilla· 46. Pods of the vanilla orchid. Warm sweetness; in niche perfumes it comes with smoke and wood rather than smelling of cake.
